Western community members reflect on COVID-19

A partnership between the Hobson’s Bay City Council, the Centre for Multicultural Youth and the Western Young People’s Independent Network, “Living With COVID-19” is a first-hand look at the experiences of community members of Melbourne’s West during the pandemic.

In an age where we are flooded daily with numbers and statistics, there is no more powerful medium than authentic storytelling.

This short film gives an insight into seven individuals and explores their challenges, memories and learnings from a tumultuous period for the world.

One of the most diverse regions in the country, Hobson’s Bay is a hotbed of culture and community, this film proudly explores the experiences of people of a range of ages, backgrounds and occupations.

Envisioned and curated by the young people of WYPIN, and shot and edited by Momentary, this piece is intended to capture a key moment in time as well as share important learnings about health, wellbeing and community safety.
