CMY Annual Report 2017-2018
2017-2018 was a year of considerable growth and development for CMY. With 120 staff and 870 committed volunteers, we were able to directly support more than 4,300 young people across more than 25 targeted programs and services.
We supported young people to share their stories, build leadership and advocacy skills, and take up civic opportunities, with over 740 young people engaged in our youth leadership programs.
With a strong focus on developing the knowledge and capability of others to work effectively with multicultural young people, we provided relevant support and capacity development opportunities to sectors and workers through training, education, information sharing, forums, and advocacy.
In 2018, we also celebrated 10 years of the Learning Beyond the Bell program, which has built the capacity of schools and community organisations to support stronger student engagement in learning.
