Settling in a new country can have a significant impact on your mental health. The Karen representatives in the Community Leaderhsip Group told us that many of their community members can experience this but usually avoid seeking help because of the lack of acknowledgement around mental health.
The following video was produced in the Karen language and captioned in English to have a wider reach with both older and younger Karen generations. The video aims to create understanding of mental health as a concept and the importance of looking after your mental wellbeing.
