Training that Shapes Culture

CMY offers a range of professional development solutions and trainings. We draw from over 35 years of experience working with young multicultural people from migrant and refugee backgrounds to make each session impactful.

Our aim is to empower people, companies and communities to engage with multicultural Australia in respectful and meaningful ways.

We offer two standalone trainings, Culturally Responsive Youth Practice and Young People and Settlement. Each module is designed to encourage effective work with young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds, their families and communities. We can deliver these trainings as a single module or as a combined training package. All training sessions require a minimum of 8 participants and a maximum of 25 participants.

What people have said:
“The training was excellent. The training helped me think about my own upbringing and how that has shaped me to who I am today. This helped me to understand how other people would also have their own experiences. A great example of intersectionality!” – Charlie McFadden, Youth Work Coordinator at Kingston Youth Services
