Culturally Responsive Practice for Learning Support Programs August 2026

About this event: What does it mean to be culturally responsive? In this training, participants will have a chance to explore their cultural perspectives and consider how this influences their work with students. This interactive training also examines the attitudes & skills needed to be culturally responsive and how to apply these within Learning Support Programs. 

Please note: This interactive training will be delivered via Zoom. Meeting information and password will be emailed to registered participants before the training.  

LBB offers FREE training to Learning Support Program (also known as Homework Clubs) staff and volunteers in Victoria, Australia. Please contact us at training@cmy.net.au to find out about training support available for other sectors. 

If you register for a training, but find you are unable to attend, please notify us at least 24 hours before the training begins.  

LBB trainings are interactive. In addition to covering important information and theory, we will go through various strategies and activities that you can use to support the students in your Learning Support Program.
