The Centre for Multicultural Youth (CMY) will be recognising excellence, innovation, community, perseverance and commitment at the 2026 MY Education Awards.
The awards recognise individuals, programs and initiatives that have contributed to improving the education experience of young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds across Victoria.
The 2026 award categories include:

Held on Tuesday 29 September at Kensington Town Hall, the ceremony will celebrate this year’s nominees and award recipients and recognise the excellence, innovation, community, perseverance and commitment that help young people thrive in education.
The event will feature a student panel discussion, live performance, award presentations and activities for young people and families.
The ceremony will be followed by lunch, networking and activities, providing an opportunity for attendees to connect and celebrate the people and initiatives making a difference across Victoria’s education sector.
