CMY welcomes new cabinet in Victoria

CMY welcomes the new Cabinet announced yesterday by Victorian Premier, the Hon Jacinta Allan MP. We look forward to working in partnership with the new Ministry in advocating and responding to the needs of multicultural young people, their families and communities, to shape a more inclusive future for all Victorians.

We particularly want to express our deep gratitude to the Hon Natalie Suleyman MP, for her unwavering support of CMY and multicultural youth during her time as Minister for Youth. Minister Suleyman took the time to visit our programs and communities, listening and learning from the insights of multicultural young people and our bicultural staff who provide direct support to them. We wish her well with her new portfolio.

Congratulations to the newly appointed Minister for Youth, Hon Luba Grigorovitch MP. We look forward to working closely with the new Minister to ensure multicultural young people across Victoria have every opportunity to thrive and contribute positively to our society.

We are pleased the Hon Ingrid Stitt MP is now the Multicultural and Multifaith Minister and look forward to our ongoing collaboration with her, as well as the Hon Ros Spence MP who maintains the Community Sport portfolio.
