Community Sector

The Community Sector workshops are for those working in the community sector, with the aim to improve understanding for organisations around multicultural young people experiencing family violence. Workshops look to define and improve sensitivity in the practice of sector professionals working in health, education, government, community and social services who may engage with young multicultural people experiencing gender inequity and related issues.

Objectives include:

  • Educate on the effects of various media exposure on young people
  • Identify the early warning signs of misogynistic radicalisation
  • Learn how to effectively challenge sexism in the multicultural community

All workshops have been co-designed and will be co-delivered young people.
