CMY CEO, Carmel Guerra has been announced as one of the recipients of an annual fellowship providing funded study at Harvard Business School.
Carmel will join two other not-for-profit CEOs, Paul Ronalds of Save the Children and Simon Ruth of the Victorian AIDS Council, as part of The Harvard Club of Victoria’s Non-Profit Fellowship Program.
The three 2015 Fellows will attend a course on Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management in Boston in July with the $12,000 fellowship including course fees and travel. The fellows will spend some of their time abroad visiting appropriate not-for-profit organisations operating in the same sector as their own organisations.
"This world-renowned program focuses on building managerial and strategic decision-making skills," Ms Guerra said.
"I am thrilled and honoured to be part of the program and look forward to sharing the knowledge gained on my return."
