Schools Standing Up to Racism Information session for schools and teachers

A resource designed to support schools in addressing racism and discrimination in their school environment.

In this free 90-minute online session, we will guide you through key features of the Schools Standing up to Racism resource and provide ideas for implementation in your school community. Topics include:

  • a whole school approach to addressing racism and discrimination
  • the importance of a culturally responsive approach in a school setting
  • Anti-Racism Prevention and Intervention Policy, Action Planning, Links to Curriculum and Navigating Common Challenges.

This information session will introduce you to the Schools Standing up to Racism online resources and provide information about how your school can further explore this issue. CMY also offers a series of detailed fee-for-service workshops on this topic for school staff and students.

NOTE: This session will be delivered via Zoom. Meeting information and passwords will be emailed to registered participants before the session.
