 pARTicipation Forum – 1 June 2012

CMY seeks to resource the arts and related sectors on the issue of engaging young culturally and linguistically diverse people in the arts. We staged the inaugural pARTicipation Forum, a dynamic one day event, in November 2010 and the second will be on 1 June 2012.
The forum provides a rare opportunity for young people and community arts personnel to come together and critically explore key issues within the community arts sector.

Bookings are now open for the pARTicipation Forum! If you'd like to attend, please click here to begin the online registration process. Registration is easy and should take you about five minutes.
| When: Friday 1 June 2012
| Where: Footscray Community Arts Centre
| Cost: $30 for organisational representatives. FREE for artists and young people
| Morning tea and lunch (halal and vegetarian) will be provided.

| - Critical stimulating discussions, workshops, interactive presentations and devising change
- Come and enjoy performances from young emerging artists, meeting people passionate about the arts, debate and laughter

2010 pARTicipation Forum report
|
Through an exciting combination of discussion and critical showcasing of arts projects, the pARTicipation Forum explored what’s important in community arts projects. Attendees heard from young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds about their arts experiences, devised innovative strategies and visualised future directions for multicultural arts production. All delivered with energy, verve and a sense of possibility…
