YRIPP Selection Policies

YRIPP staff will screen your application according to the extent to which you meet the volunteer selection criteria. The capacity of the training program and the requirements of the local roster will also be taken into account. The Application Form, the Pre-Training Interview and the Information Session are all part of the selection process.

There’s also assessment throughout the training program. At the end of YRIPP training, each applicant will have a final interview with their Regional Coordinator. Referees may be contacted at this point.

The principles of fairness and equal opportunity are to be applied to the process of volunteer recruitment and selection.
