What we offer
|
CMY delivers cross-cultural professional development and training programs that focus on working with migrant and refugee young people. CMY training is informed by cross cultural practice, cultural competency frameworks, multicultural and diversity policies, human rights legislation, youth work theories and principles and current good practice in migrant, refugee and newly arrived youth work. CMY training offers practical strategies for project development and implementation.

Who is the training for?
|
CMY training teams deliver to practitioners, (community and private) volunteers and members of the public whom work with or are interested in advocating on behalf of migrant and refugee young people. CMY delivers training to direct staff, policy makers and management in various sectors including: youth, community, settlement, sports, recreation, education, justice, voluntary, government and corporate. CMY also offers training to young people through its Short Burst Series Project.

|
Our training teams can tailor a training program to meet your organisational, group and/or business needs, specific to performance requirements and industry standards. We can administer training needs analysis tools and meet with you to discuss your professional development gaps and goals.

Trainer Qualifications and Experience
|
CMY trainers meet industry standards and are qualified in Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training, or are supervised by a qualified person. Trainers also bring extensive experience and other academic qualifications to this work.
