ASC Leadership Project
In 2005 CMYI applied to the Australian Sports Commission to secure funding for a Sports Coaching Program for young women from CLD backgrounds. The aim of the program was to target young women who where already actively participating in sport and equip them with skills to become sports coaches and peer leaders in their local community.

CLD Women's Basketball Project
In 2005 Basketball Victoria received funding to increase the participation of women in Basketball. A component of the Women in Basketball program was to increase the participation of CLD young women.

Women’s Only Swimming Project
In 2005, CMYI worked in partnership to deliver a 7-week women’s only swimming program. The program was aimed at young women between the ages of 12-25, and was delivered after hours on a Saturday night between 5.30-8pm.
